ASSIST POLICE DEPARTMENT
12/31/06 1645 HRS. - Local Box 60-1 was dispatched alerting Rescue 6 to assist Chestertown Police Department with a resident that locked themselves out of their house. Rescue 6 under the command of Asst. Chief Boyles. Rescue 6 was on scene w/ 3753 for about 30 minutes.
 

 
DWELLING FIRE – WFD
12/30/06 1121 HRS. - Queen Anne Box 7-2 was dispatched sending Tower 6 w/4, Tanker 6 w/2 & Rescue 6 w/5 to 1136 Dudley Corner Rd. for the working structure fire. QA Officer 602 had command and had all units’ stage. The scene was placed under control minutes after Tower 6 was in staging. Chestertown units operated for 51 minutes.
 

 
CHRISTMAS DAY TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
12/25/06 1344 HRS. - Queen Anne Rescue Box 5-12 was dispatched @ 240 Roundtop Rd. Engine 68 w/4, Chief 6 POV, Command 6-1 w/ A/C 6, QA Medic 5, Paramedic 1-1. Chief 6 arrived first to find one vehicle into the pole w/ the driver out w/ the property owner. PD only accident Fire & EMS units were canceled. Chief 6 requested Electric Company to scene for repair of the pole. Units operated for 18 minutes.
 

 
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT W/ ENTRAPMENT
12/22/06 1615 HRS. - Rescue Box 70-7 @ 22923 Bayshore Rd. was dispatched adding Rescue 6 to the call do to w/ entrapment. Rescue 6 was the second unit on seen behind Paramedic 1-7 finding one vehicle into an electric pole. DP&L was requested ASAP to the seen do to the line being live. Just prior to the electric company arriving the victim self extracted himself from the vehicle. Ambulance 7-1 w/ Paramedic transported to CRMC do to Aviation being down do to the weather. Units operated for 1 hour 49 minutes.
 

 
MISSING CHILD
12/18/06 0735 HRS. - Local Box 60-2 was dispatched at the request of the Kent County Sheriff’s Office for a land search of a 3 year old male missing in the area of John Hanson Rd. Units were asked to stage do to the Police questioning the parents. The child was found inside the house. Units operated for 17 minutes.
 

 
DEBRIS FIRE

12/16/06 1755 HRS. - Local Box 60-1 was dispatched for a debris fire dispatching QA Engine 64 (Sudlersville) @ 114 Edge of Town Drive off Flatland Road. QA Engine 64 arriving finding a small fire. QA Engine 64 operated for 25 minutes.

 

 
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY AND INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS
12/16/06 - The Officers and Members would like to thank the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company for covering the first due while the members enjoyed the meal and installation of the 2007 Officers.
 

 
DUMPSTER FIRE
12/16/06 1540 HRS. - Local Box 60-2 was dispatched for a dumpster fire @ 6995 Quaker Neck Rd. Engine 68 w/6 and A/C 6-2 POV responded finding that the fire was put out by the home owner. The Engine overhauled the dumpster extinguishing the remainder of the fire. Units operated for 1 hour 3 minutes.
 

 
DWELLING FIRE -WFD
12/15/06 1853 HRS. - Queen Anne Box 4-9 was dispatched for a dwelling fire @ 402 Coon Box Rd. Tower 6 w/ 6 responded at the time of dispatch. Tower 6 was in staging within 10 minutes. Command held the box to QA units Clearing Tower 6. Tower 6 operated for 36 minutes.
 

 
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT W/ ENTRAPMENT
12/13/2006  2207 HRS. - Rescue Box 60-8 was dispatched for a Traffic Accident w/ entrapment @ Route 20 & Bell Rose Lane. Units on scene Command 6-1 w/ Deputy Chief 6, Engine 68, Rescue 6, Rescue 8, Ambulance 8. Ambulance 8-2, Paramedic 1-1. Deputy 6 was first to arrive to confirm entrapment @ 2214 HRS. having Rescue 6, Engine 68 & Rescue 8 handle the extraction of the victim. Ambulance 8 & 8-2 handled transport to CRMC. Units operated for 1 hour 8 minutes.
 

 
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT W/ ROLL OVER
12/09/2006 2013 HRS. - Queen Anne Rescue Box 7-14 was dispatched for a Traffic Accident w/ roll over @ Route 544 area of Chino Farms. Units on scene Engine 68 w/7, Command 6-1 w/ A/C 6, Ambulance 8, Paramedic 1-1, QA Rescue 7, QA Ambulance 7, QA Paramedic 600. Kent County units cleared @ 2034 HRS.
 

 
ODOR OF GAS INSIDE
12/07/2006 2030 HRS. - Haz Mat Box 60-1 was dispatched for an odor of LP gas in a residence @ 105 S. College Ave. Units on scene Engine 68 w/5, Command 6-1 w / A/C 6, Ambulance 8, Paramedic 1-1. Units operated for 29 minutes.
 

 
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT W/ ROLL OVER
12/07/06 1412 HRS. - Rescue Box 60-8 was dispatched for a MVC w/ Roll over @ Route 298 & Earl Nicholson Rd. Units on scene Engine 68 w/5, Paramedic 8, Paramedics 1-1 & 1-7. Units operated for 34 minutes.
 

 
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
12/02/2006 0242 HRS. - Rescue Box 60-1 was dispatched for a MVC @ the corner of Kent St. and Washington Ave. Units on scene Command 6-1 w/ A/C 6, Engine 68, Ambulance 8 and Paramedic 1-1. Units operated for 37 minutes.
