AFA

01/31/2007 1734 HRS.  Kent dispatched Local box 60-1 for an AFA @ 200 Clipper Way (Chestertown Landing Apts.) Command 6-1, Engine 6-7 responded Kent advised that the alarm was a water flow. On arrival of Command 6-1 confirming water flow. Engine 6-7 was staged and units cleared within a minute. Thanks to the site manager Mike Pinder for cleaning up for water. Units on scene: Command 6-1, Engine 6-7.

 
 

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

01/30/2007 1827 HRS.  Rescue Box 60-2 was dispatched for a Traffic Accident in the of John Hanson Rd.@ Route 289. Command 6-1, Engine 6-7 responded within a minute. Chief 5 (THORPE) was on scene and advised that we had 2 patients for transport with minor injuries. The Engine crew secured the vehcile and Amb 8, Amb 8-1 handled patient care. Units operated for 29 minutes. Units on scene: Command 6-1, Engine 6-7, Rescue 6, Ambulance 8, Ambulance 8-1, Paramedic 1-1, Kent Sheriff.

01/26/2007 1833 HRS.   Local Box 60-1 was dispatched for an Automatic Fire Alarm @ 200 Clipper Way Building #1. Command 6-1 was first to arrive to find an activated sprinkler head. Engine 6-7 was directed to investigate and Tower 6 was clean up of the water. units operated for 37 minutes.

HOUSE FIRE

01/25/2007 1918 HRS. Fire box 60-10 was dispatched for a house fire @ 4845 Cliff City Rd. Captain 6 was first to arrive & establish command. Command held the response to Station 6 equipment. Units operated for 36 minutes.

Equipment responding: Command 6-1, Engine 6-7, Tower 6, Tanker 6, Engine 7-3, Tanker 7, Engine 4 & Tanker 4.

 
 

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT W/ RESCUE

01/23/2007 1901 HRS. Rescue Box 60-6 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment in front of 9818 Augustine Herman Hwy. Command 6-1 was first to arrive to find a two car MVA head on w/ one trapped.
Rescue 6 & Rescue Pumper 4 had removal of the patient. Units operated for 1 hour 31 minutes.

Equipment responded: Command 6-1, Engine 6-7, Engine 6-8, Rescue 6, Rescue Pumper 4, Ambulance 8, Ambulance 8-2, Paramedic 1-1 & MSP Trooper 1.

   
   
 
 

BUILDING FIRE

01/22/2007 2257 HRS. Fire box 60-8 was dispatched for a building fire @ 23156 Woods Edge Dr. Apt 106A.
Caller reported fire in an appliance. Command 6-1 was first to arrive and found that the home owner had removed the appliance from the apartment. Command held the response to Station 6 equipment. Units operated for 46 minutes.

Equipment responded: Command 6-1, Engine 6-7, Tower 6, Rescue Pumper 4, Tanker 4, Engine 7-3, Utility 7, Engine5-3, QA Engine 51, Medic 8 & Paramedic 1-1.

 

 
NATURAL COVER FIRE
01/16/2007 1422 HRS. Local Box 60-8 was dispatched for a reported natural cover fire in the rear of 10726 Kasota Rd in Chespeake Landing. Units found a small fire to the rear of the address. Units operated for 60 minutes.
 
Units on scene: Command 6-1, Brush 6, Engine 6-7 & Deputy Chief 6 (POV).
 

 
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT / VEHICLE INTO A STRUCTURE
01/15/2007 1913 HRS. Rescue Box 60-10 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident into a structure. Command 6-1 w/ Chief 6 (JOYNER) arrived first to find a single vehicle accident into a structure. Units operated for 56 minutes.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT / MCI
01/14/2007 1219 HRS. Rescue Box 60-1 was dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a bus @ 401 Morgnec Rd. Alerting Stations 6,8 & Kent EMS. Chief 8 was first to arrive to upgrade to a Phase I MCI w/ (seven) 7 injuried requesting 3 additional transport units alerting Station 8, QA Staion 7 & QA Station 5. Deputy Chief 6 was next to arrive to have Morgnec Rd Command. After Medical personnel checking the vitims 2 required transport to CRMC. Units operated for 41 minutes.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT
01/12/2007 0404 HRS. Rescue Box 60-8 was dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Accident in the area of 10572 Klamath Rd. Alerting Stations 6,8 & Kent EMS. Units operated for 38 minutes.

BUILDING FIRE
 01/05/07 1527 HRS. QA Box 5-6 was dispatched for a dwelling fire @ 1801 Sudlersville Road alerting Engine 67, Tower 6 and Tanker 6. Tower 6 was on scene working, all other Chestertown units were cancelled. Tower 6 operated for 36 minutes with Church Hill Units.
 

 
BOAT FIRE W/ EXPLOSION
01/05/07 1035 HRS. Local box 60-8 was dispatched for a boat fire @ 22170 Great Oak Landing Rd. (Great Oak Marina). At the time of dispatch Deputy 6 Neal responded POV and Kent advised of a boat fire. Engine 67, Engine 68, Tanker 6 were en-route. Deputy 6 arrived to find a boat that was being worked on had caught fire w an explosion with two employees burnt. Deputy 6 requested two transport units and County Paramedics. Station 8 and Paramedic's 1-1 & 1-7 were dispatched. Due to the weather, MSP was down. Kent tried to find an aircraft to fly, but couldn't find any close. Deputy 6 then requested a Baltimore County Boat to respond for the transport across the Chesapeake Bay due to the driving distance. Paramedic 1-1 & 1-7 went by boat to the western shore, and then to the burn center. Units operated for 2 hours and 4 minutes.
 

 
GAS LEAK OUTSIDE
01/03/2007 2256 HRS. - Haz Mat Box 60-1 was dispatched bringing Rescue 6 from a Medical Call on Cannon St. Also Command 6-1 responded with Chief 6. Units checked the area to find no leak. Units cleared in 28 minutes. Chief 6 had Washington Ave Command.
 

 
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT W/ ROLLOVER
01/03/2007 2038 HRS. - Rescue Box 60-5 was dispatched to the area of 27824 Morgnec Rd for a traffic accident. Command 6-1, Engine 67 and Rescue 6 responded with 15 volunteers and operated for 50 minutes. Asst. Chief Slagle had Morgnec Rd. Command.
 

 
HOUSE FIRE
01/02/07 0750 HRS. – Fire Box 70-2 was dispatched @ 5162 Eastern Neck Rd in Rock Hall. The first unit on scene was Paramedic 1-7 upgrading to a working fire. PM Morris’s additional report advised fire in the wall and exterior of side CHARLIE. Rock Hall Engine 72 was next to arrive. Engine 67, Rescue 6 and Tanker 6 responded w/ 9 volunteers operating for 1 hour 39 minutes. PM 1-7 had command do to staffing problems. Good Job Rob.
