During this time, crews responded to six emergency calls. Having volunteers on station during the event made a big difference—especially with the heavy traffic in town. Since all of our volunteers normally respond from home, being based at the station helped ensure faster response times and better coverage for the community.

In between calls, members shared stories, laughs, and enjoyed the camaraderie that comes with being part of the fire service.
