On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company participated in the annual “Touch-a-Truck” event at Worton Rec Park, which was organized and hosted by The Judy Center Early Learning Hub at HH Garnet Elementary. We took Rescue-Engine 6 and invited children of all ages to explore it. We had personnel on hand to help and answer questions. We also set-up a hospitality tent where we handed out Fire Safety and Prevention materials.
