It is with deep sadness the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of Past-President Alan L. Carroll on February 3, 2026. Mr. Carroll was President of the fire company from 1971 – 1973, years that mark the beginning of our transition from a small, homespun fire company to the modern, progressive Fire & Life Safety organization we are today.
