Last evening, members continued our vehicle stabilization training, this time focusing on techniques used when a vehicle is resting on its roof. Building off our previous drill, crews practiced proper strut placement, securing points, and maintaining a safe work environment for patient access and extrication in these more complex scenarios. This drill was led by Lieutenant Willis.

During the drill, Squad 6 and Tanker 6 were dispatched to assist the Goodwill Fire Company with a reported structure fire. While both units were ultimately placed back in service, Squad 6 relocated to the Goodwill station and Tanker 6 relocated to the Church Hill Volunteer Fire Company to provide coverage for the area.

While those crews were committed, additional personnel remained at our station to ensure continued coverage and readiness for any other calls for service.
